Hawthorn is a small tree that produces white to pink flower in spring, similar to those that you find on an apple tree.

The flowers and leaves are mostly used for medicine, but the berries can be used too!

Hawthorn is most known for its use in heart and circulation medications. It strengthens the heart muscle and improves the flow of blood through the heart and arteries. This in turn regulates heart rhythm and blood pressure.

Hawthorn lowers harmful cholesterol too.

Hawthorn protects the cardiovascular system, has anti-inflammatory properties and antioxidants. Hawthorn works on the emotional levels of the heart and can be taken by those who are grieving and experiencing sadness.

Hawthorn can be taken as a tincture on its own or as part of our heart formula.

It is quite safe for all ages from children to elderly. It is best to be taken long term to experience the best results.

The only caution is to consult with your doctor or pharmacist if you are already on any kind of heart or cholesterol medication.
