Boost your immune system with this warming, stimulating syrup

  • 3 cups water
  • ½ cup dried elderberries
  • 1 Tablespoon ginger, peeled and sliced
  • 3 cloves
  • 1 stick cinnamon

Cover and simmer until liquid reduces until half.

Strain and preserve the liquid.

Add ¾ cup of honey.

Store in a jar in the fridge for a few months

As a preventative, take a tablespoon a day.  For illness take a tablespoon every hour or 2 for the first couple of days.  For children take 1 teaspoon instead of 1 tablespoon.
