Fresh Lemon Verbena and Mint Tea

A delicious, refreshing summer tea.

Ingredients:

300ml Boiling water

1L Fresh water

10 Leaves fresh mint

2Tbsp Lemon Verbena leaves

15 Ice cubes with lime

To make:

  • Boil 300ml of water, remove from heat, add the tea leaves and mint, cover and let stand for about 4 minutes.
  • After 4 minutes, add 1 litre of cold water to the hot water in a large pot and allow the tea to soak in for a few more minutes.
  • Optionally, add a couple tablespoons of sugar or a tablespoon of Stevia leaves.
  • Before serving, drain the tea leaves and add ice cubes with lime (previously prepared ice cubes with cut lime.
