Fevers are not a bad thing but can get out of control.  Adults should not exceed 40deg and a child 38deg, in these cases seek medical help.

  • 2 tablespoons peppermint, 2 tablespoons yarrow, 2 tablespoons elderflower, 2 cups water, steep for 10 minutes.  Drink a ¼ cup every half an hour.
  • Ginger tea.
  • Broth.
  • Water.
  • Echinacea ½-1 teaspoon 3-4 times a day.  Even add to teas or water.
  • Warm tepid bath or wrap up in a blanket.
  • No coffee or fizzy drinks, these are dehydrating.
