What to do for a sore throat?

Each one of us know that scratchy, sore feeling that starts in the throat.  That sinking feeling that sickness is starting to brew. Here are a few things you can do to help:

  • Make sure that you have some Throat Lozenges made and ready on hand in the fridge, suck one every 3 hours to bring relief.
  • Make the Sage and Salt Gargle.
  • Drink broth.
  • Drink Ginger and Honey Syrup in a herbal tea.
  • Avoid – bread, sweets (including orange juice) and dairy.
  • REST as much as possible.
  • Cover mouth, throat and chest when going out into the cold.
